EEsAA Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Alpe Adria

EEsAA Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Alpe Adria is a project funded under the Interreg V ITALIA AUSTRIA Program (Priority Axis 1 - Research and Innovation; Thematic Objective 1 - Strengthening research, technological development and innovation).
In recent years, the battle for "talents" has intensified globally, increasing the outflow of young entrepreneurs and innovative companies from cross-border areas to more attractive ecosystems. Another critical aspect is the low level of external / internal connections in the region and the need to strengthen innovation networks for better cooperation.

To address the above, the EES AA project will be a pioneer in connecting entrepreneurial hubs and local start-ups in a cross-border Cluster, where technology parks, universities, incubators and co-working play a central role in the joint promotion of the Alpe Adria entrepreneurial ecosystem as destination for the best innovative companies in the region visible globally.

Activities

The EES AA project includes the following activities:

• Creating an Alpe-Adria business destination with the development of a common vision-strategy and action plan (joint lighting events, strategic combinations, coordination with parallel entrepreneurial ecosystems)
• Design and implement a systematic package of high-level services for the start-up and growth of innovative SMEs / start-ups within the program area (Mobilization schemes, Soft-start for start-ups, projects of first commercial application)
• Implement a high-level cross-border entrepreneurial mentoring program
• Develop an entrepreneurship educational program with pilot actions in the project area.
